We'll look at how you actually work, recommend the cheapest tool that fits, and migrate you across. Migration fee is quoted per job and usually pays itself back inside the first month or two of saving. We get nothing from the software vendor either way.

common questions

Tradie questions, answered straight.

I already have a website. Do I need a new one?

Usually no, and we'll tell you. If your current site loads fast on a phone, ranks for your trade in your town, and is bringing in calls, we'll say so and look at the Google Business Profile and reviews instead. If it's a five-year-old WordPress that's slow, dead in search, and a pain to update, a rebuild pays for itself in extra calls.

What does a tradie website cost with iterate?

Fixed price, scoped per job after a short chat. You own the domain, the hosting account and the content. No lock-in, no monthly to us for the site itself. If cashflow is tight we can roll it into a monthly payment plan.

Will I rank on Google?

For your trade plus your town (eg. plumber Lower Hutt, sparky Porirua), yes, that's what Get Found is for. We set up Google Business Profile properly, get the reviews engine ticking over, and tidy your local SEO. National terms like just plumber are a different fight and we won't pretend otherwise.

Do I need Google Ads?

Most three to four person crews do not, at least at first. The free Google Business Profile + reviews does most of the heavy lifting. Ads make sense when you're chasing a specific job type or a quiet patch and want to turn the tap on for a month. On-request only, never the default.

I'm on Fergus or simPRO and it's bleeding me. Can you help?

Yes, and this is one of our favourite jobs. We migrate small crews off Fergus or simPRO onto ServiceM8 or Tradify, whichever actually fits the way you work. The migration fee usually pays itself back inside the first month or two from the monthly tool saving.

I don't want to be sold software I don't need.

Good. That's the whole point. We're independent and we don't resell anyone, so there's no kickback driving the recommendation. If you're on the right tool we say so. If you need something cheaper we say so. If you need nothing at all we say so.

Where are you based?

Lower Hutt. We work across Wellington, Porirua and Upper Hutt face to face, and remotely for the rest of NZ. A real person picks up the mobile.
